| Our Goal |
We strive to be a complete resource
for using the Apple iSight camera in education. iSightEd.com provides
educators and professionals a forum to find each other, share
ideas and ask questions.
iSightEd is a tool for our community,
developed by volunteers within our community. In order to keep
this site valuable for all of us, please contribute your ideas
to make it better and let us know how you might be able to assist
us in getting there!

Jason
Ediger - The Creator
Jason Ediger is a teacher, mentor, trainer and technology
specialist. This past year at the Apple Distinguished
Educator (ADE) camp, Jason had the idea to create a forum
for educators with Apple iSight cameras - and thus iSightEd
was born. As an ADE, Jason brought together resources from
the community to realize this dream - and continues to be
that guy who pushes us all. Currently, Jason works with
the Orange County Department of Education overseeing the
distance learning and video conferencing program.
For the past nine years, Jason was an 8th grade teacher
and in 2003 was awarded the Teacher of the Year for his
district!

Walter Chefitz
- The Ergonomist
Walter Chefitz is a software, jewelry and product designer.
Walter was the key influence for the look and feel, design
layout and feature definition for iSightEd.com. Walter maintains
some connections to education - he once tutored kids in
math and his brother is a high school teacher. He also has
degrees in Human Factors / Ergonomics from Tufts University
and University College London - so he has some justification
when he says we can only have five menu items. Professionally,
Walter is a cofounder of LinkPAX – the online packaging
solution for the entertainment industry, and has been a
product manager in the streaming audio/ video sector for
the last six years. His jewelry line is available through
www.waltadler.com.
